Much of what we do comes from gathering existing resources from the community! What can you collect that will help a student have a better school day?
Hosting a drive is one of the easiest ways to ensure Nashville’s children have the essentials they need to meet their day. Many items – from winter coats to “outgrown, not worn out” collared shirts and khaki pants – are abundant in our community and just need to be corralled! We supply ready-to-print materials that enable communication and promotion to your community.

Let’s get started! We make it easy (and fun) to do good!
We think it should be simple and easy for you to host a drive with your community group. Choose a drive that is best for your group, and download the toolkit with everything you need for logistics, contact info, and promotion of your drive.
New Underwear Drive
Underwear is a no nonsense necessity for all students. All sizes and styles are needed, from briefs to boxers to pullover-style sports bras, sizes 4T – Adult 3X. Host a Drive by downloading the Underwear Drive Toolkit!

Coat Drive
Winter coats are an ideal item to collect in “outgrown, not worn out” condition! Coats are given to any MNPS student in need throughout the winter. Our distribution inventory is based entirely on donations and collection drives. Host a Drive by downloading the Cost Drive Toolkit

HERO Pantry
The HERO Pantry is stocked each month by community partners with food to be distributed to families in the program by the HERO team or by social workers or other support staff who work directly with students and families.

School Clothing Drive
We thrive on sourcing school clothing that students want to wear from right here in our community. Host a drive to boost our inventory and help us to provide school clothing that “fits and fits in!”
